Operation HOPE has for years operated in a rented industrial building, that delivered at best, less then optimal return on your investment to the community, our donors — and in particular — to our clientele...

During the Spring of 2012, a suitable property become available; right time, right place... While the two parcel property was attractively priced for our need, it would require extensive renovation in order to convert it from it’s former office space, to a “turn-key” ready homeless shelter, completely built-out with operations and case management space, conference, dining and multipurpose rooms, shower and laundry capabilities, a play area for the children and more.

Our Board of Directors seized the opportunity to purchase the current facility and we are now in the process of raising the capital necessary to own the property outright (no rent!) as well as securing the renovations necessary to meet our communities homeless needs.

Our Campaign Goal is to raise $1.4 million, and we are almost there, having obtained gifts and pledges totaling over —

$1.2 Million!

by March’s end, 2013.
